The class is over, but the posting continues.

I find it interesting that Microsoft Word spellcheck does not allow a pluralization of the word "English".

How does this reflect the cultural attitude toward English?

    Excellent question. It tells us a lot about the general culture towards English language. On the other hand, Microsof spellchecker doesn't recognize many words in fact, so I usually go ahead and add it in.
